I'd look at the SR9 over the Security 9. I found it to be a better built pistol. I picked up a SR9 & a SR40 for $300 new each. The SR9c mags fit the PCC as well. Here in NY, we get the 10 ed compact mag with our carbines. They are too short for the SR9 though and I cannot get an extended mag base from either Ruger or Mec Gar. The Ruger SR9 is the most pleasurable, thoroughly satisfying, 9x19mm pistol I have tested in many years. Everyone who shot this pistol had the same reaction: I have to get one. The build quality is confidence inspiring and the SR9 is about as ambidextrous (including the magazine release) as one can hope for in a pistol.
